Troop 145 Scouts work very hard each year and we have tons of accomplishments to be proud of. Here is a record of all of the fun, challenging, and exciting things we have done so far on our journeys to Eagle Scout!

We had a Patrol Leader Committee meeting to map out our agenda and calendar for the year
We had one Scout work staff at NYLT and we are sending 4 boys to NYLT this year
We had two Courts of Honor and we played our bi-annual gaga ball games
We filmed a commercial that aired on TV 36 that we can use for recruitment going forward
We volunteered at Osceola Presbyterian Church's Rise Against Hunger Event helping to make 10,000 meals for the hungry
We collected pet food and supplies for the East Hanover Animal Shelter
We donated 270 cans of soup to the Unico Souper Bowl charity event
We made hundreds of sandwiches for various food banks
We held two elections
We volunteered at the Unico, the Clark Reservoir, and the Rahway River Cleanups
We helped the American Legion with their shed cleanup project
We participated in a wreath laying ceremony for veterans' graves at St. John the Baptist Church
We had a trip that included Staten Island Ferry ride to NYC, a subway ride to central park, a hike through central park and a tour through the Museum of Natural History
We had a camping trip to Worthington and hiked to 1300 ft elevation to Sunfish Pond
We had a camping trip to Citta Scout Reservation where we shot rifles and shotguns, had a "boil-off" competition, and practiced orienteering
We went camping at Allamuchy and snowtubing in the Poconos
We went camping in Cape May and went Railbiking
We went camping in Narrowsburg, NJ and rafting down the Delaware
We had a campfire at St. John the Baptist Church
We competed in the Pioneer District Klondike Event, and we had a lot of fun.
We visited Operating Engineers Local 825 in NJ where we learned about unions and operating heavy machinery. We even got to work the excavators.
We completed 6 Eagle Scout projects including Revitalizing the Hero sign at the Clark Pool (Dillon Cahill), Merchant and Dovers Cemetery Museum grave catalog (Chris Bacek), The Lego Lending Library (Anderson Scheiferstein), William Robinson Museum Picnic area (Nick Raab), William Robinson Museum raised garden (Nick Merola), Bienko Park Exercise Revitalization (Anthony Risoli) and we have one more scheduled for Spencer Prusakowski this month
We completed our annual Christmas Tree, wreathes, and flag sales, and they were resounding successes. We collected enough money to ensure that no scouts had to pay for trips or food during the scouting year.
We had guest speakers including John Cistaro (Leadership), Mike Germana (Financial Advisor), John Samsel (Entrepreneur), Ed Merola and Bill Bellomo (IT), Kevin Brady (Firefighter)
We marched in the Memorial Day Parade
We will have hiked over 15 miles across our camping/hiking trips including Cheesequake, Watchung Reservation, and others.
We camped 16 nights under the stars including summer camp.
We serviced several merit badges within our own Troop including Citizenship in the Nation, Citizenship of the World, Family Life, Orienteering, Salesmanship, Personal Fitness and others.
We crossed over 7 scouts from the Cub Pack
5 Scouts achieved the prestigious rank of Eagle Scout!
We created this website to improve our digital presence and reduce paper consumption
We had a guide-on created to add a new symbol of pride for our Troop!
We volunteered at the Clark Township Health Fair, the Unico Festival Clean-up, the Garwood Township Clean-up, Earth Day Rahway River clean-up, and service hours at Allamuchy chopping and organizing wood.
We twice volunteered to help Osceola Presbyterian Church collect hygiene products for people in need.
We had a fishing derby at Allamuchy where Scouts caught ~130 fish and earned their fishing merit badges.
We went camping at Worthington State Park, NoBeBoSco Scout Reservation, and went to the Lakota Wolf Preserve.

We competed in the Pioneer District Klondike Event, and we had a lot of fun.
We went camping at Citta Scout Reservation including shooting sports, a burn-off competition, gaga ball, orienteering merit badge, and other fun activities.
We went camping at Allamuchy Scout Reservation with snowtubing at Pocono Mountain
We went white water rafting/camping at Landers River Trips in Narrowsburg, NY
We sold flags to decorate the lawns of our town during Memorial Day, 4th of July, and 9/11
We marched in the Memorial Day Parade
We participated in a TV36 special about Fallen Soldiers of Clark for Memorial Day
We've welcomed four guest speakers - auto mechanic, military veteran, town business administrator, and a graphic designer.
We visited Boilermakers Lodge 28 in NJ where we learned about unions, welding, and boiler making. We even got to practice welding.
We will have hiked over 21 miles across our camping/hiking trips including Cheesequake, Watchung Reservation, Gettysburg, and others.
We camped 12 nights under the stars.
We also held 2 elections.
Three Scouts will go to National Youth Leadership Training (NYLT).
We had 1 Scout achieve the prestigious rank of Eagle Scout. 1 Scout was also awarded the Pioneer District Scholar Athlete award and scholarship.
We serviced several merit badges within our own Troop including Citizenship in the Nation, Citizenship of the World, Family Life, Orienteering, Salesmanship, Personal Fitness and others.
27 Scouts will attend summer camp at Ockanickon this year and will be lots of fun!

We completed 6 stellar Eagle Scout projects to improve our community
Our Christmas Tree sale was a resounding success, which paid for camping, events and food for our troop for the entire year
We went on 5 camping trips and we attended summer camp for 16 nights under the stars
We did some pretty cool stuff like hiking, snowtubing, rafting, shooting, Sterling Mine, etc.
We hiked approximately 5 miles across our camping trips
21 boys attended summer camp at Ockanickon
We completed 4 conservation projects for approximately 100 total hours of service from our scouts
We held two elections and two courts of honor
We welcomed one new scout who crossed over from Cub Scouts
We offered several merit badges within our Troop including camping, family life, personal management, citizenship in society, citizenship in the world, citizenship in the community and citizenship in the nation, salesmanship
As a group, we completed 129 merit badges and we had 25 rank advancements
Two adult leaders completed IOLS training
We competed, and we all had fun at the Klondike competition
We marched in the Clark Township Memorial Day Parade
We created a wonderful brochure that has been put to good use
Created a google pictures link for everyone in the Troop to share and view our pictures
We had three guest speakers to talk to the boys about first aid, Insulators Union, and DARE
Conferred two religious awards and one outdoor award
We won the Ockanickon Camp Volleyball Tournament for week 5!
