Before choosing a merit badge, each scout should look at the worksheet so that they know what is expected of them to earn each merit badge.

1.       Once a scout chooses a Merit Badge, they should come see Mrs. Prusakowski to make the request. Mrs. Prusakowski will find them a Merit Badge counselor to work with, and issue a Blue Card. - see image below

2.       The Blue card will stay with the scout as they work on the Merit Badge. Once the Merit Badge is completed. The Merit Badge Counselor will sign the blue card and keep one portion of it. The remaining parts of the Blue Card are to be given back to Mrs. Prusakowski.

3.       The troop holds two Courts of Honor each scout year. The Court of Honor is where the scout will receive the Merit Badges they have earned.

4.       There will be instances where the blue cards will be virtual, in those instances, there will not be a physical blue card issued. The Merit Badge Counselor and Mrs. Prusakowski will approve the merit badge electronically.
